What is an NT Scan?

An NT Scan is a specialized ultrasound performed between 11–14 weeks of pregnancy to measure the thickness of fluid at the back of the baby’s neck. This scan is used as a screening test for chromosomal abnormalities such as Down Syndrome, Edwards Syndrome, and Patau Syndrome.
